DAY 12 CHALLENGE:       Listen To A Guided Meditation

How To Meet Todays Goal:

A guided meditation is a practice that allows a participant to follow the guided visualizations of someone through audio, video or text for purposes of meditation. For today’s challenge, I’ve created an absolutely free guided meditation called Peace & Safety. Get your headphones, head to your sanctuary, dim the lights and get very comfortable. Listen to Peace & Safety – or a guided meditation of your choosing. This exercise will take about 10 minutes total.

How It Helps Anxiety:

Meditation is proven to help with anxiety and panic. In fact, many in the psychology community are recommending daily meditation as a first line defense in combating anxiety and panic. The scientific and medical communities have found that regular meditation actually changes the brain to be more calm and less likely to react to fear inducing situations. Additionally, studies show that the benefits of just one 12 week period of meditation lasts for seven years. This is how powerful meditation is and why it is so important to implement into your daily schedule.
