This will help you to visualize the successes on your journey and allow you to see just how much you are accomplishing. You are so much more powerful than you realize and it’s time for you to see that in yourself.

I hope you’ve gotten a journal or a nice notebook to jot down notes as you go along on your journey. This will help you later on to remember what was working for you and what wasn’t.

Writing down those that bring you joy can help relieve anxiety and panic
DAY 2 CHALLENGE:       Write Down 5 People That Bring You Joy & The Specific Reasons Why

How To Meet Todays Goal:

Joy is defined as a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. I am sure there are a number of people who bring you joy. Take out your notebook or journal and sit down in a quiet place for a few moments. In those moments,  really think about all of the positive people that you have in your life.

Begin writing down your list of 5 people that bring you joy and next to each name write the specific reasons why they bring you joy.

Example

Jamie – He is always so positive and tries to see the good in everyone and in every situation.

Mom – She is always there when I need her and always has a big hug waiting for me.

How It Helps Anxiety:

It is extremely important to remember that not only is there is joy in your life but you have people in your life who bring you joy. When we’re suffering through periods of prolonged anxiety, it is often hard to put things into perspective. As silly as it seems, we can forget all of the good that we have in our lives. Writing down the specific reasons these people bring you joy makes it more concrete and less abstract. It also forces you to think of specific examples that you’ve experienced that brought you feelings of joy.
