Kyle McMahon

Kyle McMahon, also known as K.Mac, is an American singer-songwriter, journalist, producer, television personality and radio show host. McMahon signed a record deal with Warner Brothers Records out of high school and began recording pop-rock songs for his debut album. McMahon's step father was deployed to Afghanistan for the military so he moved back home to Delaware. He began managing professional golfer Michael Tobiason Jr, who was the subject of a Golf Channel documentary at their time at the U.S. Open. Additionally, McMahon began managing Delaware hip hop artist ICE Coday. McMahon and Coday restarted work on McMahon's album. In mid 2013, McMahon appeared on the first of 4 episodes of Oprah's Lifeclass on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. He spoke out about his biological father's abandonment before he was born. The first episode of the special limited series won an Emmy Award. McMahon released the single A Letter 2 My Younger Self (Fatherless Sons) as a free download to coincide with Oprah's Lifeclass. He began a column for the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network section of Huffington Post writing on personal development for Millennials. In 2014, McMahon began giving speeches on the fatherless epidemic in America. He started Stand Up Man Up, with Veronica De La Cruz and Art Alexakis (Everclear). Stand Up Man Up lobbied for strengthened deadbeat dad laws. In 2014, McMahon appeared as Senator John J Williams in the Oscar winning film Selma. In 2015, he joined My Brothers Keeper, the Obama administration's program to help fatherless sons. In 2017, McMahon joined multi-platinum pop band LFO for their "Rich In Love" tour. The tour spanned 18 cities across the United States. In 2017, McMahon joined the popular PBS specials National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth. He has continued as a contributor each year since. In 2019, McMahon signed with iHeart Radio, creating Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle Mcmahon, an entertainment focused show. It is featured on iHeart Radio stations across the country. In 2020, McMahon began as a contributor to On Air with Ryan Seacrest and On with Mario Lopez.
