Miss Colombia’s Graceful Forgiveness on Miss Universe Stage (Video)
You may have heard about a certain mistake that happened at the Miss Universe 2015 Pageant this weekend. What you may not have seen was Miss Colombia’s graceful forgiveness backstage following the incident. If you missed it, host Steve Harvey accidentally read the wrong name of the winner of Miss Universe 2015. After Miss Colombia was wrongly crowned, Harvey immediately owned up to his mistake and took to the crowd to right the wrong, naming Miss Philippines the true winner. It was definitely an unfortunate situation for all of those involved.
Miss Colombia gracefully smiled through the disappointment for the remainder of the show. After the show, the Miss Universe 2015 team asked her how she felt about what happened and her response couldn’t have been more perfect. Miss Colombia responded with class, dignity and a graceful forgiveness of Harvey’s honest mistake.
