DAY 25 CHALLENGE:       Join An Online Anxiety Forum

How It Helps Anxiety:

There are tens of millions of people who currently deal with anxiety. We can say without a shadow of a doubt that we are truly not alone. Online forums are amazing places to read stories of other people’s experiences with anxiety. 

When we read other people’s personal stories – in their own words – we can take solace in knowing that we’re not alone. That We’re not weird. It can be very therapeutic to read that others struggle with some of the very same things we do. 

Users on many of the forums give advice on how they handle certain aspects of anxiety. Some detail their thoughts, feelings and actions. Others give detailed information on what they did to finally overcome anxiety. Others share their hardships.


How To Meet Todays Goal:

There are forums for generalized anxiety disorder and forums for extremely specific phobias and everything in between. Find a forum that works for you and browse through it. If you feel like it would be helpful to contribute, than contribute! If you’d rather just lurk, than lurk away!
