30 Day Anxiety Challenge - Self esteem

Today is Day 13 and the train keeps on rolling. We’re almost half way done the challenge!

I hope that you found the Day 12 Challenge a game changer for you! Don’t give up on guided meditation as meditation can change your anxiety and your life. Don’t forget to mark off your success from Day 12 on your  Anxiety Challenge Tracker.

Now, let’s get started with Day 13 of learning how to manage our anxiety and panic!

DAY 13 CHALLENGE:       Write A Quality You Love About Yourself On An Index Card & Carry It With You

How To Meet Todays Goal:

Take a few minutes and think about a quality that you love about yourself. Be  very specific. An example might be, “I am a very good, reliable and faithful friend”. Write down the quality you came up with on a notecard and carry it with you for the day. Choose a place that you will see the card frequently like a wallet or in your phone case.

How It Helps Anxiety:

Anxiety and panic can be horrible for self esteem if we let it (and oftentimes, we let it). That anxiety voice in your head whispers doubts into your brain far too often. By writing a quality that you love about yourself, you are helping to give yourself confidence. The more self confident you feel, the stronger you’ll be to manage anxiety and panic. Using an index card in which you’ve written down a quality that you love about yourself, is a gentle reminder throughout the day that you are a good, person who is deserving of peace. You are worth it.

Wrap-Up:

Making yourself sit down and think of some qualities that you love about yourself may be difficult for many of us – but we must begin to recognize our strengths as we work through managing anxiety and panic.
