DAY 20 CHALLENGE:       Have Fun!

How It Helps Anxiety:

All too often, we are so bogged down my thoughts and patterns and even actions, that sometimes we forget that we need to have some fun too! It’s important to have fun. Not only does it relieve stress – which helps manage anxiety – but it takes your mind off of your problems for awhile. We need that and we need it regularly.

Additionally, having fun actually increases concentration and self esteem. Both of these things help manage our anxiety too! And let’s be honest, fun brings us happiness – and we can all use more of that.

How To Meet Todays Goal:

Take as much time as you can and just do something fun today! It doesn’t matter what it is as long as you are having fun!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

*Go rollerskating
*Go to a theme park
*Hang out with your funniest friend
*Go dancing (Or dance in your room)
*Have a picnic at the park
*Be a tourist in your own area

Go out there and have fun! You deserve it (& you need it!)

Wrap-Up:

Journaling is one of the best ways to help manage anxiety and panic. By putting it into practice now, you can find great benefits both short and long term in helping you.
